Australia’s International Country Entertainer, Wayne Horsburgh, was born and raised on a dairy farm and started singing at age 8. Some of his early musical influences were Frank Ifield, Slim Whitman and Wilf Carter, hence the love for yodelling – a crowd pleaser at his shows. He has been performing on the Sydney club circuit for over 33 years.
Wayne first visited the USA in 1984, finding that the American audiences loved his music. He has been dividing his musical time between Australia and the USA ever since.
Wayne has represented Australia at the International World-Fest at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri, along with 500 other International entertainers. He has also performed at the ‘Great American Music Festival’ at Silver Dollar City, over the past 12 years for hundreds of shows.
Wayne’s career has taken him all over the world, developing a huge fan following in not only the United States, but also in Britain, New Zealand and his home country of Australia. He has performed on Cruise Ships, at County and State Fairs, Theatres, Clubs and Festivals around the world.
